In plain words: I only collect what I need to answer you and organise your fishing trip. I don’t sell your data and there are no ads on this website.

Who is responsible

What I collect and why

• Question and booking forms: your name, email, WhatsApp number (optional), your message and trip details such as date, trip, number of anglers and pickup address. I use them only to answer you and to prepare and run your trip. Legal basis: steps before and for our agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Emails and WhatsApp messages you send me directly – for the same purpose.
• My client list: if you book a trip, I keep your contact details and trip notes in my customer database (HubSpot), so I can organise the trip and stay in touch about it.
• Visit statistics (Google Analytics): only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Google Analytics then uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are popular, with shortened IP addresses. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Technical data: like every website, my hosting provider (Namecheap) briefly stores server logs with your IP address to keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This website sets no cookies unless you accept statistics. Your choice itself is saved in your browser (not as a cookie on my side). You can change it any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Other services on this site

• Google Analytics – Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC. Data may be processed in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Only with your consent.
• YouTube videos – a video only loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) when you press play.
• Google Fonts – the website’s fonts are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address for that purpose.
• Links to WhatsApp and Tripadvisor – when you click them, their own privacy rules apply.

How long I keep your data

Messages and booking details are kept as long as we are in contact and for up to 3 years after our last contact or your trip, unless the law requires longer (for example for accounting). Statistics in Google Analytics are deleted automatically after 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to receive a copy, or object to its use – just write to fishinginprague@gmail.com. You can withdraw your consent to statistics with “Cookie settings”.

If you think I handle your data incorrectly, you can also complain to the Czech data protection authority: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz.
