Bobber fishing for silver bream

Water and place: oxbow on river Labe (Elbe)

Date of fishing: 20.05.2016

Weather and water conditions: partly cloudy, air temperature +22 C, weak wind, water temperature +18 C.

Fishing method: fishing with bobber

Tackle and baits: 7 m (23 ft) long poles, line 0,20 mm, small bobbers; corn and maggots as baits

Catch in total: bream, silver bream, roach, rudd

The biggest fish: bream up to 3 pounds, silver bream up to 2,5 pounds

Special features of a fishing day: Beautiful spring day, bream and silver bream took our baits steadily. First, we thrown a few balls of fish food mixed with some corn, then continued feeding with small portions each 15 minutes. It was a great pleasure to drag a big fish with elegant gear. Especially before spawning, when with were very hungry. During 5 hours of fishing we’ve caught about 40 fish, mainly silver bream. Client: Gary Kassimir, USA
